"Good diaper for the long-haul" 2009-02-15
By book lover (Los Angeles, CA)
I've used fuzzi bunz (the old model) on two daughters over the past four years. The fuzzi bunz (along with an additional insert) worked well for us and has fit my daughters well most of the time.

There are lots of pocket diapers out there nowadays, but I'm a big fan of pocket diapers that use snaps. We have a few pocket diapers that use velcro. Both of my daughters got very good at taking off the velcro diapers and then pooping or peeing on the floor. That worked fine for potty training, but before then it was very annoying.

I would think seriously, though, before ordering size small fuzzi bunz. My daughters were able to fit into size medium at 4 months and 15 lbs. They were still able to fit into size medium at 26 months. The size small really wouldn't have been a good investment for us. The size medium FB's, however, have probably saved us over $1500 dollars.

"A great alternative to disposables" 2008-12-30
By Laurel Hillmann (Oregon)
I just started using these as an alternative to the disposables I've used since the birth of my son 2 months ago. At first I tried to start with cloth but the old fuzzibuns weren't fitting (his legs are too skinny). Now he finally fits, not in the old version (still too big around the legs), but the snaps on the new model create a nice secure fit around his legs. They survived a super blow out this morning and I had to share my experience with other parents looking for an alternative to disposables! Similar messes often end up outside the diaper, even with high end disposables like 7th Gen and Pampers. I used the Kushies flushable liner and cleaning out the blow out was almost as easy as tossing the disposables! Very impressed.
